Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)
Correct drooping upper eyelids and puffy bags below the eyes by removing excess fat, skin, and muscle, to give eyes a younger, well-rested look. Early signs of aging are often reflected in eyelids. Some inherit heavy muscles in lower eyelids and have "bags" under eyes. Surgery removes excess fat (and muscle, if necessary), along with wrinkling and drooping skin, and entire eyelid (upper, lower, or both) is tightened. Small incisions are hidden in natural contours and creases. (May be covered by insurance if used to correct visual field defects.)
